Logo Plates *PIC*

tek
>Iíve been making military logo plates for gifts for service members. Here is a picture of the first one. I made this for my son who was a Lt. In the Marine Corps at the time. As of Feb. 1st he became a civilian again. Two deployments to Iraq were enough for his mother and I. The Plate is of curly maple I print the Logos on Avery Clear Full Sheet Label stock. Avery # 8665
What ever appears white on a computer image prints out clear on the label stock. Some of the grain also shows through the colored areas. I sprayed a light coat of shellac over the bowl after the label was on and French Polished over that. On my more recent ones I just use spray lacquer for the finish.
