Subject:
THE ROSE *PIC*

Jim King-Iquitos,Peru
>This is our first attempt at turning 1 & 1/2 inch thick end grain log slices. We cheated and glued a 1/2 inch board of the same wood on the bottom. The size is 12" dia. by 1 1/2" tall. This experiment was to show the end grain in these woods as it is better than the flat grain. The design is simple as we were a bit nervous it would fly apart but the next will be better.
