Getting a Oneway 2436 in basement?

>Hi All,

I'm seriously considering a Oneway 2436, but am concerned about getting it into my basement shop.
Alas I don't have bilco-type doors to the outside, so would have to muscle it down a flight of stairs.

I wonder if anyone can share their experiences getting one of these monsters in?

I talked to Oneway, and they seemed to suggest taking the headstock, tailstock and legs off would leave the tube + motor as a managable weight.

I'm thinking on the 2436 that might still weigh 350-400lbs, given the total weight of 800lbs...

P.S. the manual says the 2436 comes disassembled (headstock, tailstock, legs). Is this true?

Thanks!

-Phil
