Venting fumes from a Garage shop.

>Trying to figure the best, easy, way to vent finishing fumes from a garage shop. The ceiling is dry walled and insulated. Was thinking of something in the line of a ceiling mounted bathroom exhaust fan, (maybe even attaching a hose to it, to pick up fumes closer from the actual finishing area) and venting it into the garage “attic” hoping the natural venting will just take it outside through the roof vents. Any one try this?, is this a bad idea? Any other good ideas for venting fumes? Only one window in garage, and it’s not practical to use that to vent. The only other alternative is a wall mounted exhaust fan, but not to keen on the idea of cutting a hole through the side of the garage/house at this

Thanks much and Turn SAFE!!!
