Subject:
Two Platters (for Bill Grumbine) *PIC*

Ruth Niles
>These are 2 of 3 platters I turned from a piece of spalted maple that Mr. Bill Grumbine gave me. The board was a little less than 1" thick and 12" wide and these both are 11" - 11 1/2" diam. The one on the right has no finish just buffed with tripoli, that's it. The one on the left was rubbed with Danish oil then buffed with tripoli, white diamond and carnuba wax. Other than the darker tone, they both look and feel the same.

Thanks, Bill! : )
