Buckeye Burl Vase *PIC*

Les Robison
>I turned this piece yesterday. It came from a scrap of buckeye I had in the shop and was loaded with bark inclusion and various stubs of roots. I saved the burl edge on the top and had little problem with the outside. However, the inside was rough turning due to all the voids. It is 8" tall,4" at the max. and 1/4" overall thickness. However, there are several edges that are only being held together by 1/16" of wood. This piece has wonderful color and lots of eyes.
