More on radio interference

>Hi all,

There have been a number of posts recently regarding the interference inverters cause to the AM wave band on radios. I have one of the few PM3520s here in the UK and I also suffer the same problem.

Having checked with various filter suppliers, one has come up with an RFI filter that measures roughly 2" by 3" has two terminals on one end and two on the other plus an earth terminal. So far so good, the guy selling the filter said all I had to do was fit the filter into the power cable leading to the lathe.

This sounds to simple, anyone have any views, thoughts or, like me, doubts?

The mains voltage in the UK is 240v single phase, there are three cables coming from plugs, live, neutral and an earth.

Regards....MIke
