Spiral Work *LINK*

Scott Greaves in Blackfoot Idaho
>Lately I have been contemplating doing some spiral work. I have been to a demonstration by Stuart Mortimer, and was very impressed! I have intended to get some of the tools needed to do this by hand, but have lost my notes on what to get, and from where.

Yesterday I was visiting the website for Tools For Working Wood because they carry Ashley Iles turning tools (long story!). I noticed they also carry the Auriou line of rasps. Very impressive! But I don't even know where to start buying something like this, and they are too expensive to buy haphazardly.

So, does anybody do this kind of work, and can you give some suggestions to a poor novice? Books, videos, recommendations on tools all would be welcome! Thanks!

Scott.
