source for wood?

Where can I get wood? Wood that is up to ten inches in diameter and maybe ten inches in height? I think I would need to have it cut in rounds...so that I could more or less mount ti on my lathe with no other preperation. I'd prefer dry wood but I've read all about alcohol drying, etc., and am willing to give that a try.

I've been following Ebay to get a sense of what's available. And I've bought spindle blanks off Ebay a number of times. Sometimes to the good, occasionally to my disappointment. Are there any "commercial" dealers that offer pieces (bowl blanks) that fit the above description?
