Fresh Cherry Burl HELP! *PIC*

Darren Brown, Tolland, CT
>Hi,

I have not posted here before but I figure you folks might be able to help me. I was fortunate enough to get my paws on a cherry burl from a tree that was cut down over New Year's. What I wanted was some of the lumber from the tree after it was milled but my rat brother-in-law didn't offer. What I got instead is this cherry burl. Now I know there's some sort of turned or carved item hiding inside of it but a: I don't have a lathe and b: even if I did I wouldn't know how to use it. What should I do? If some kind CT turner was willing to turn something for me I'd split the burl with ya (wink wink, nudge nudge). Any help would be appreciated.
