Subject:
Sycamore Carved Bowl *PIC*

Ben Aragon
>I posted a bowl a couple of days ago and here is another bowl I turn last year. The vessel is Sycamore with a carved top. It is 6x5x1/8” thick. I turned the bowl green rough and soaked it in PEG for a week and then let it air dry for 4 weeks, then finished it. The finish is moisture cured polyurethane and bees wax. The photos don’t lye, I noticed how rough the edges of the holes when I saw the close-up photo. I cleaned up the hole with a jeweler file, looks much cleaner now. Any comments are welcome.

Best Wishes,
Ben
