Subject:
Big Birch Bowl

Gil
>I setup a little photo booth in the basement. I'm looking for advice as to the best angle to take a photo from. This is a new piece of birch which I turned. It is finished with Deft Lacquer then a couple coats of pure tung oil.

It's about 10" tall and 13" wide at the top. The bowl is interesting because ambrosia beetles attacked it and I thought it was maple, until that birch beer smell permiated the shop.
Critiques on the piece and the photograph technique are extremely welcomed and incouraged.

Thanks,
Gil
