Grumpy Turner

>Well I went out bought a new drill today so I could power sand these 20 cherry bowls I turned fairly recently. I had the perfect piece for my friends wedding gift, nice natural edge spalted, curly all the goodies. As it was drying on top of the furnace it fell to the floor and now has a fairly large crack up one side of it. I had already applied the finish and removed the waste block. Any hints on how to repair this baby? Maybe some CA glue into the wound and rechuck it to resand? or hand sand the cracked area?
Thanks,
Gil
