GMC grinder - too good to be true?

>Yeah, it's that cheap guy again recovering from another neck injury at Lowes from snapping his head around after seeing a low, low price tag. They have a single vertical wheel low speed wet grinder sold under the GMC label as a sharpener for $29. Obviously I didn't learn my lesson bringing home the GMC scrollsaw for one night (which is actually useful; it vibrates so much that the laser does an awesome light show if you put something reflective on the table - DAMHIKT). Is this another too good to be true? Anyone looked closely at it? My guess is that the main issue is the quality of the wheel.
