Cherry burl bowl *PIC*

>New for me. First time I tried to shape/carve something. Turned this as far as I could and shaped the rest to match the contour of the burl. Wanted to show how the burl wrapped around the branch. This was almost impossible to photograph so it showed the interior profile. It looked like I had simply cut it in half and sanded it flat, so I added some hotspots with aluminum foil. Carved/shaped with dremel and a rotozip with some foredom carbide bits. Tung oil finish, not buffed yet.

All comments welcomed. It looks neater in person and I think I will be doing more of this type work.
