Friday woodturning chuckle

>The piece pictured below sits in my office, where I pretty much have a gallery of work. It is certainly one of my best hollow forms.

I receive all sorts of visitors to my "gallery", from those who are told by others to stop by to people just walking in the aisle and a piece catches their eye.

This morning one of my coworkers brought someone from another office by. She was looking all around, saw the piece pictured, and said "Ooh! That is pretty, I know what this is. Its one of those candle things you fill with oil and light the wick!" I replied, "yeah, I suppose you could use it for that".

All in the eye of the beholder...
