Need more help...improving tools...

I asked, just Monday, about making hollowing tools, and due to the great advice, I made some yesterday and used them to turn a couple hollow vessels. You can't beat help that makes that happen. Thanks, guys.

Now I have another question...

The four tools I made work great from my perspective...after all, I've never done hollow turning so anything that allowed me to do it was good, but...

I cannot help but believe the tools can be improved, specifically the cutter tip orientation. I made four tools, 1/2 and 3/4 straight tools, and 1/2 and 3/4 swans neck tools. What would be the optimum cutter orientation for these tools? Any other tidbits anyone can share? I bought enough steel today for 5 more 1/2 inch tools and 5 more 3/4 inch tools. Any need for 1 inch tools? Any advantage to using square stock rather than round as I have now? Anything else I should know?
