A tip for glue blocks on steroids

>When turning large bowls with a glue block tenon clamped in chuck jaws, I almost always got wobble when opening up the inside. So as an experiment, I bought nuts to fit the spindle, 1 1/4 X 8, from a local supplier (Tacoma Screw). I punched 2" holes in 8/4 hard maple with a forstner bit, and epoxied the nuts it place. I use 3", 4", 5" and 6" glue blocks with the nuts and No more wobble on big bowls.
