Subject:
Least Favorite Turning Wood ?

>I've seen posts asking for our favorite turning woods, or "What's the best wood for xxx?", so I'll reverse it: What's your LEAST favorite wood for turning ?

I'll nominate Wenge, which I've only used a few times. Something about that dusty, splintery wood with harpoon-like barbs on the ends of all the splinters in my hands makes me thing I won't be craving any Wenge real soon ! I enjoyed turning Black Palm and Grasstree root beter than that stuff ! I'm no real big fan of Purpleheart, either, but I do like the look of it. You ?

Safe Spinning,
