Subject:
Hollowing Systems

Ron
>I need some help in getting started in hollow forms. I have a Berger tool and 3/4" holder and a Sorby multi-tip hollowing tool/shear scraper that I have used to hollow small boxes. I made a clamp to hold the 3/4" rod to a 1/4" rod so both rode on the tool rest without twisting once the Berger tool cut nicely.
I have been looking at the Jamieson and Kelton systems. Is this overkill for starters? If so what is better?
I have plenty of power and bed length, just don't know how to use it.

Thanks,

Ron
