It suddenly came to me like a bolt of lightning. I live in SW Oregon on 11 acres and have a surplus of Madrone and Oak. I can cut as needed or even trade some of my firewood.
What I would prefer to do is trade for stuff that would be more common in your neck of the woods. If you really have the need for Myrtle I've found some suppliers on the coast that are very reasonable.
