right angle drills

>This is after the fact, since I just bought one, but, I was wondering who started using these close quarters drills for sanding? And, T.D. mentioned that they get hot, pretty rapidly when sanding continously, & I vaguely remember a while back, that there were some postings about these Milwaukee drills, having some part burn out, & having to be replaced.

So, what is the real benefit, in using this type of drill for sanding, other than its compact size?
