>I have been asked to make a set of sake servers, sakazuki. Any recomendations for the wood? I'd like something that won't affect the tast but has some pattern to the grain. Maple burl or perhaps figured cherry? Any others? Unfortunatly I don't think Mesquite would be a good idea.
