Subject:
wood score

John Lucas
>I went out tonight to gather wood to take to the Tennessee Symposium. I got a bunch of Elm that's about 14 to 16" diameter. The other logs are possibly black gum about 20" diameter. Unfortunately the guy cut it about 20" so we'll have to cut it down to use it. I'll try to post a photo tomorrow. I couldn't tell exactly what it is. I've only turned one piece of black gum and don't remember what the log looks like. My books didn't have a good enough photo to tell.

If any of you are in this area stop by. I have more than I can take to the symposium.
