Turning Archive 2004
>I picked up my new shop dog Saturday in Morganton, NC. He rode all the way home on my shoulder and by the time we were back "home" (4 hours), we had bonded. In honor of the neighbor who taught me to turn at the age of 11 (or was it 12) I have named him "Charlie". Pronounced Cholly. I still have the lathe (Sears Dunlap) that Charlie Peevey taught me to turn on. Charlie P loved small dogs too. I sent Mark a photo to post of "Charlie". One of these days I am going to find out why I can't post a photo on this board.
