Turning Archive 2004
David Hammond, in Powder Springs GA
I'm finally just about ready for the big show Saturday! Fifty-seven bowls are completely finished, the gallery is done, and we're down to the last minute things. An artist friend I know is coming tomorrow to shoot slides of all the peices in the gallery, and we toyed with a couple of shots today with my digital camera - just wanted to see what you guys thought of the photo, and the bowl.
I'm thick-skinned guys, so critique as hard as you like, and ask any questions you have; seriously.
The first bowl is spalted beech from Terry Daniel; the finish is tung oil, hand rubbed thought rottenstone.
