>There are often questions on this board about design of turned wood, what is good design, and how can we learn to recognize the good and tell the difference from the bad.

There is a long discussion of the design process for furniture on the "Critique" board. It is a a good one to read if you are interested in the "design process". Yes, the discussion is related to furniture, but the thought process is the same thing that we go through every time we put a piece of wood in the lathe.

Go to "Critiques" from the menu to the left of this page and look for a subject title, "Where do you get hung up when designing furniture?" The topic was started by Ellis on May 14, 2004.
