Sorry for the cross post (also posted on hand tools). I recently cut down a holly tree and I have some trunk wood -- about 16' total length, maximum diameter about 10". Anyone interested. It's free to a good home. You just need to pick it up. See the photo below. I hope someone can use it. I really don't want to do all the splitting, coating, etc. recommended on the hand tool forum. Is it of any good for turning as suggested on the hand tool side?
