Subject:
Square Jarah Burl *PIC*

>Hi

Back in February I posted a question of design. At that time I had made a bowl and I had the option of removing one of the corners. I was wondering what others thought about the corner removal.

I got some interesting responses to that question.

Ron asked if I would post a picture. I said I would that evening. Well I guess I have been in some sort of time warp with this piece. I never did get "happy" with the piece. I have done as much damage to it as I care to. The bowl stands in the "finished" but NFS pile.

The particulars are:

Jarah burl (I got this hunk of wood from ShopSmith a few years ago when they had a 1/2 price sale on the wood.)

8" X 8" X 3" with the bowl part being 6" and the rim 1/2" above the square part. The thickness is a fairly consistent 3/16".

Your comments are welcomed.

Thanks

Richard
