Oneway Termite sharpening *LINK*

Jeff Gerardot, Indianapolis IN
>(I dont' have a Termite yet, I'm just thinking of getting one)

The termite instructions (link below) discuss the setup for sharpening the Termite with a conical grinding bit in your router. The instructions specifically state that you cannot use a drill press -- "(NO, a drill press won’t do unless you have one that puts out the required 16 000 - 30 000 RPM)."

It seems to me that slower speed would only result in taking longer to sharpen the tool.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

It doesn't really affect my buying decision, I'm just curious about the reasoning behind this.

Also, if you have a Termite, do you like it? Any complaints?
