Subject:
Mobile Base for PM3520

Mark Kauder, Phenix City, AL
>Our club is over half way to buying our club lathe, which will probably be a PM3520.

The College where we meet would like to store it in a storage shed just outside the woodshop where we meet, when we are not meeting. The Path is concrete w/o serious undulations.

Some club members suggest that we can build a mobile base ourselves with 4" casters. I think that it would be hard to build a decent on that will now raise the lathe to high for most users, and still handle the 700 pound weight.

Opinions??
