Safety

Sean Troy
>My first shop accident happened yesterday. I almost lost two fingers on the bandsaw. I thought I was following all the safety rules while cutting some Mesquite bowl blanks when I must have hit a soft spot or void in the wood cutting around the corner when my hand quickly went into the blade (1/2" 3tpi) . Two things helped me from loosing my two fingers. My wedding ring and the fact this was to be the last cut before I changed out the blade.( Blade was getting dull) I honestly think I was being saftey conscience, but I guess you can NEVER be TO saftey conscience.Today I go to the Nurosurgeon to see whats next. Please be carful and recheck your saftey protocol and thenrecheck it again. Take care, Sean
