Subject:
Maple segmented piece *PIC*

Keith Tompkins
>Here is a vessel I just finished. This was one of the pieces I used in my demos. I used black and white for making the lines easier to see at the demo.

The vertical lines are staves, the horizontal lines are rings cut after turned as a cylinder, and rearranged.

This is a "prototype" for future pieces, has over 1200 segments. The neck is kept austere to avoid conflicting with the pattern of diamonds. I made the diamonds around the largest diameter the largest, gradually decreasing in size toward the base. The base is black and white veneer.

Please excuse the poor photo, it appears yellow, some one please give me a few pointer? filters?
