Subject:
Stihl 260?

>I just walked next store to check out the chainsaws. It seems the 026 pro has been discontinued but is similar to the 260 pro with a 16" bar. I looked at a 290 (mid-range) and a 310 (pro-range). Both have a 20" bar, but the 290 has a smaller chain, (at least this is what I was told. If anybody could educate me on this please do so.)

All three are only $50 apart so price is not a factor.
260 - $360 - 10.6 lbs - 3.50 hp
290 - $410 - 13.2 lbs - 3.75 hp
310 - $370 - 13.2 lbs - 4.00 hp

I'm leaning towards the 260 - because of the weight. But the 16" bar might be a bit small. What do you think? Will I be sorry with this size bar?

BTW - My Husky has a 28" bar
