Box Elder HF

>Here is the first piece of Box Elder I got last month. This one I tried face grain but the other 4 pieces I will get out of this log half will be end grain turned.

This one started out to be taller, but I found out that I need a longer boring bar before I go deeper. So the base is larger then I had intended when I found this out. After it was hollowed out.

I finished up at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", about 2-1/4" at the base. Finished with antique oil and then buffed.

Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome.
