Subject:
Wheels on a 3520?

>Hey Folks

I have had my PM 3520 for about 6 months and I am thinking about rearranging my shop to take advantage of being able to turn of the end. The best location for the lathe would partially block access to the 35 gal drum I use as a 1st stage for my dust collector.

I only have to empty the drum once a month or so but the lathe would have to move to get to it.

I have seen quality casters that have a stud mount and 250 lb capacity. They also have a lock that holds both axixs of rotation.

Has anyone ever mounted their lathe on wheels. (height will not be a problem) With the PM's mass and speed control, I rarely get significant vibration so it seems like it should work.
