Turning Archive 2008

Subject:
#7 *PIC*

Carol - now in NC Nebraska
>Two unremarkable pieces of alder glued together for a practice turning.

6" diameter - 4" high - oil finish (not yet completed) - wall thickness ~1/4.

Form is called an olla (pronounced oy-ya).

Done while on vacation and visiting Wally Dickerman.

It is bowl number 7 for me. And it is an eloquent statement about having a turning mentor from day one. Thanks, Wally.
