Subject:
Greenheart ???

E.T.
>I have been turning a piece of wood that was sold to me as "greenheart". This is THE worst wood I have ever turned. When cut with a saw it smells like burning rubber. When turning it produces a fine flourescent yellow-green powder that covers my hands and tool. It has a "strange" feel, not gritty or slippery. The wood is a medium tan colour with a halo of bright green. The sanded wood looks alot like lignum but a lighter colour. Mr. Google didn't turn up much info. ET
