Walnut Keepsake Box *PIC*

Greg Haugen
>This was a fun box to make and one of my favorites. This being my sixth box, there isn't a lot of choices for "favorite" though. The wood came from my friend, Pam Reilly, along with other wood and two more cylinders that match this one. The box has a 2 3/4" diameter and just over 4" tall. It's sealed with lacquer and waxed with Fiddes Supreme Wax. Pictures do not do this box justice. The "effects" in the sapwood and the brown and purple tones in the heartwood are incredible. Comments are welcome, "how could I make this better" suggestions appreciated. :-))

Thanks.
