Subject:
Worm holes in Sycamore question.

Barry Irby
>I have some spalted/semirotted sycamore that has what I think are worm holes in it. The holes are packed tightly with sawdust like material. (frass?) I have picked the stuff out of most of the holes. My question is, are those worm holes? How could a worm possibly pack that stuff in there that tightly? OTOH what else could account for the "holes" if it were not something like a worm?
