Oneway 1640 Controls Modification *PIC*

>I turn from both sides of the lathe, and outboard. I'm always having to reach past the spinning piece to change RPM or turn it off, or I'm having to turn around behind me to reach the controls.
I wanted a remote switch, but it's only on and off... no speed pot. That great Oneway service dept was helpful when I asked about the difficulty of removing the control cable from the Pendant Arm.
So I did it. I can now move the Control Box and it's bracket to two different mounts that I attached to the lathe, and I can put it back on the Pendant Arm.
This pic shows it mounted to a bracket that is attached to the inside of the outer flange of the outboard bed extension.
