Hollowform in "G" *PIC*

Keith Tompkins
>What to do with tiny spheres? I have been making a couple of pieces with small spheres as finials....At just the same time as John K. Jordan has been doing the same thing!!

The piece is about 6" tall, turned for the "Small Treasures" exhibit, made of masur birch and african blackwood, and a guitar "G" string. Oil finish.

Each sphere is about 1/4", bored with a .021 drill to secure the guitar string, then reverse chucked to finish the spheres.

I feel there is a strong connection between art and music, and try to reflect that in this piece.Comments welcome.
