Subject:
Crepe myrtle? Good for turning?

Mark Williamson
>Hey, Everyone around here is cutting back there Crepe Myrtle trees and I have picked up a few pieces to turn. I was wondering if anyone has turned any before and could share any of the characteristics? If it is nice to turn then I would like to pick up more while I have the chance. If it is "crap wood" I don't want to waste my time getting more of it. It "seems" like it would be interesting but I can see where that could be deceiving. Any thoughts?

Thanks
