Ash? Red Ash? Anyone seen this before? *PIC*

During the coring the red started to appear and in places showed like red ink spots. I brought the 2 rough bowls home and finished roughing them out ready for drying. As you can see the red is very pronounced. Everyone who has seen the wood has identified it as ash but no-one has seen this red in ash before.
So what do you think?
