Western Red Cedar

>Anybody do any turning with western red cedar? It seems a lot coarser-grained than eastern, along with being essentially non-aromatic. It seems to resemble spanish cedar more. I have a dry piece that I haven't cut into a blank yet and was wondering if there were any thoughts on it.
