>I have some sayings posted around my shop for inspiration in "difficult" moments. One of my favorites is one that popped into my head a year ago:

The difference between a mistake and a learning experience is your attitude.

There are several well-known corollaries:

It's only practice for the next piece.

It's not the destination...
It's the journey.

And yes, I had a couple of learning experiences yesterday and I remembered a couple of previous ones as well.
