Subject:
Filling wet wood cracks

Greg Singleton
>Hi All,

I have a wet hollow vessel with an 1/8" wall thickness that has a crack that is begging for inlace or brass filings. If I let the vessel dry it will warp so bad that I would not be able to return. Therefore, if I want to add inlace or brass I will need to apply it and perform the final turning while the vessel is still wet.

Would you have any advise on glues or procedure that might help or is this just going to be a game of luck?

Thanks!
