>Do you have any favorite tricks for filling cracks? I've heard about sanding with CA, sanding with BLO, etc, but haven't tried any techniques and would be interested in what works for you.
I turned a couple little hollow forms from unstable wet spalted wood, and got a few stress cracks as the wood dried, due to how uneven the wood moisture was. They started out big (1/32" - 1//16"), and then closed up when the drying caught up across the board, so now they are hairline cracks - not closed completely, but almost, and the wood seems to have stopped moving.
