Subject:
Question to local turning club at Indy Show

in_parrothead
>I attended the Woodworking show in Indy on Saturday. At the show the local wood turning club had a booth setup doing demos's. I noticed that one of the turners was using an articulated type arm to hollow a bowl. It looked like it was mounted to the bed of the lathe and used no other tool rest. It also had a laser that shoed the location of the tip.

I should have asked but did not, can any of you from the turning club tell me what kind of tool this was and where they can be purchased?

Thanks, Mike
