Subject:
What are some things you can't live without?

>Now, as a woodturner for almost 10 years, I realize that not every list will be the same. It depends largely on what your goals and aspirations are, as well as the things you make. I see the "New Turner posts" all of the time, and it got me to thinking- "What does someone really need?"

Lathe and tools- check.

But how about the not so obvious?

I couldn't live without(not technically, but having used one wouldn't ever want to go backwards):

a chuck

compressed air at the lathe

my library of books and magazines

And probably a litany of other things, but let's hear what else everyone considers "part of the basics".
